Company History
1946 – Albert Lea Machine Company incorporates as ALMCO on April 12
1947 – Purchased by F.A. Trow, primarily for the equipment; valued at approximately $120,000
– Operates as a division of Queen Stove Works, owned by the Trow family, manufacturing "Supersheen" brand tumbling barrels
1957 – Purchased by King Seeley Thermos Co.
1968 – ALMCO/Queen Products/King Seeley Thermos Co. purchased by Household Finance Corp. of Chicago, IL
1986 – ALMCO division of Household is purchased by employee group as ALMCO Inc.
1989 – Purchases Sutton Machine of Sturgis, MI. to supplement its spindle finishing product line
2004 – Acquired by Innovance, Inc., of Albert Lea, Minnesota
