Challenge:
The OEM reached out to improve efficiency, throughput, and ergonomics of their heat treatment process in one of their parts plants. Their existing process involved manual loading and was slower. It also relied on media that required additional physical labor to clean and reset the process. The existing equipment could not support the demands of steel media.
Solution:
We answered the call with four integrated systems, featuring parts-loading conveyors, media-loading conveyors, and a sturdier build to support steel media. Switching to steel media reduced media purchases over time and eliminated the repetitive, time- and labor-intensive process of cleaning broken-down media and dust from the existing process.
